Born in Genoa in 1984, Fabio Colombo is driven by the need to leave signs of his passage. Attracted to nature’s beauty and deeply introspective, he explores inner conflict, duplicity, and human connections in his work. Using contrasts, textures, and details, Colombo’s pieces capture the intangible aspects of life, often portraying emotional captivity and suffocating immobility. His works combine traditional methods (acrylics, pigment, stucco, and inks) with digital painting, often evolving from hand-made sketches. His art ranges from dark, pessimistic tones to bursts of vibrant color, reflecting the emotional spectrum of human existence.
