Ulian Paolo e Ratti Moreno
Paolo Ulian studied at the Academy of Fine Arts - Carrara - and later signed up at the Isia of Florence where he graduated in Industrial Design in 1990. He moves to Milan where he works as an assistant in the study of Enzo Mari. In 2000 he exhibited at the Satellite Salone and won the first award of the Award Design Report. In 2009, Beppe Finessi takes care of his first personal exhibition at the steam factory in Milan and the following year a second personal exhibition at the Milan Triennale entitled "between game and landfill" this time curated by Enzo Mari. In 2011 he won the 1st Social Design Prize promoted by the ADI and in 2013 he participates in the edition of the three-year design museum with an installation dedicated to Vico Magistretti.
In 2014 and 2015 he designed the preparations of the annual exhibitions at the Magistretti Foundation. He collaborated with Droog Design and with some Italian companies like Driade, Fontana Arte, Danish, Zani & Zani, Azzurra Ceramiche, Up Group, Zava Luce and Antonio Lupi. In 2020 he designed the setting up of the Anthological Exhibition of Enzo Mari who was held at the Milan Triennale. Some or his projects entered the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum, of the London Design Museum and the Montreal Museum of Fine Art.
