Franca Franchi, born in Piacenza, Italy, initially pursued law but eventually embraced her artistic talents, identified early on by her primary school teachers. Guided by Gillo Dorfles, she showcased her work in the 2015 exhibition *Il segno e la luce* in Vigoleno. In 2020, Franchi opened the Atelier of Water Crystals in Grazzano Visconti, Piacenza, where she creates and exhibits unique pieces. The atelier showcases her journey from *Water Crystals* (2008-2013) to wearable sculptures and luminous installations, including light fixtures and chandeliers.
