Isabella Nazzarri, born in Livorno in 1987, lives and works in Milan. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and attended the Visual Arts class at the Accademia di Brera. In 2013, she won the Griffin Prize for the Student section. Co-founder of Supergiovane, a collective promoting young artists, Nazzarri's work explores metamorphosis and transformation. Her gestural pieces evoke memories, often sensory or archetypal, creating a perceptive short circuit for the viewer through ambivalent meanings. Her works are exhibited in galleries and public spaces both in Italy and abroad.
