About the artist

D'Elia Davide

Italy

Born in 1973 in Cava de' Tirreni (SA), Davide D'Elia now lives and works between Rome and London. His work often reinterprets modern aesthetics, moving beyond object and objectivity to explore concepts of time and its flow in space. D'Elia’s pieces, which include photography and complex multi-material installations, examine power relations and the interaction between atmospheric forces and art objects. His art evolves organically, with shapes growing over time, becoming natural drawings on the objects themselves, reflecting the passage of time.

D'Elia's works are marked by the fusion of different languages and a conceptual aesthetic. He deconstructs and reassembles subjective materials, transforming them into a vehicle for universal thought, moving from matter to abstraction.
