About the artist

Capaccioli Daniela

Italy

Daniela Capaccioli, born in Monza near Milan, grew up between Lombardy and Tuscany, where she developed a passion for observing people and places, leading her to draw constantly. Initially trained in scenography, she later explored sculpture, working with clay and ceramics under artists like Beatrice Koster and Eugene N'Sonde. In 2002, during the exhibition The Body and the Air, Capaccioli discovered her ability to work with wire mesh, transforming it into a malleable material. Today, she uses this medium to create sculptures that embody lightness and meaning.
