Alberto Riera, born in 1978 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, is a contemporary Latin American artist based in New York City. He studied at the Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts in 1998 and 1999. Riera is known for his simple yet energetic strokes, which, while appearing random, are carefully crafted with attention to detail, stains, overlaps, stripes, dripping, and mixing. He has participated in nearly 300 personal and group exhibitions worldwide, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the international art scene.
