Martina Maranelli (Rovereto, 1988) is completing her painting studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. A finalist for the 2019 Paolina Brugnatelli Painting Prize, she led the Fra(m)menti workshop at MART Rovereto in 2021. Inspired by nature’s resourcefulness, she collects and fragments paper, reconstructing it into new cohesive forms. Her process mirrors organic creation, shaping torn ad pre-arranged scraps into unified artistic compositions.
