Ribana Szutor, author of over one hundred works, was influenced by artists like Picasso, Vedova, and Pollock. Winning Romania’s National Prize for painting in 1999, she exhibited internationally in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Milan. Her early works reflect a "black period" with large portraits and floral compositions, evolving into representations of women as powerful, independent, and sensual figures. Her paintings explore the duality of the sacred and profane, portraying women as both strong and fragile, inviting viewers to engage with their emotions and inner essence.
