Lia Stein, a versatile photographer, balances commissioned work with artistic photography, seeing both as parts of the same process driven by curiosity and disciplined precision. She has worked for leading Italian magazines like AD, Specchio, and Amica, and publishers such as Rizzoli and Mondadori, in fields ranging from photojournalism and fashion to architecture and advertising. Her artistic work spans from studying traditional printing techniques to exploring the relationship between descriptive and interpretive images in the digital realm, applied to both urban and natural landscapes. Stein's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She lives and works in Milan at L'Atelier.
