Born in 1986 in Beroun, Czech Republic, Jaroslav Prosek was introduced to glass after secondary school, working at Marek Landa Art Chandelier Company. He further honed his skills at the ateliers of Bohemian Crystal Masters Jan Frydrych and Vlastimil Beranek, developing a passion for Bohemian Crystal and optical glass sculpture. Known for his experimentation with materials like optical glass, crystal, stainless steel, marble, and wood, Prosek has redefined form and structure, positioning him at the forefront of contemporary art and design in the Czech Republic. Since 2010, his extraordinary art projects have inspired global audiences.
