About the artwork

Weisswurst

Sculptures. Hand-modeled ceramic, mirror.

Hand selected by our curators

The mirror, conventionally a symbol of vanity, as famously used by the evil queen in Snow White, is humorously framed between slices of mortadella. This composition reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously, suggesting that only irony can save us and reveal our true selves.
