About the artwork

Trippy

Sculptures. Tortured brass, starred-eye emoticon, lighting.

Hand selected by our curators

A tortured brass emoticon with starred eyes, backlit on a wooden base. Made from extruded recycled brass sheet, the piece is backlit and patinated with salt and ammonia, creating a dynamic, weathered effect that highlights the emoticon's expressive form against the warmth of the wooden base.
