Micaela Lattanzio, an Italian artist based in Rome, is known for her innovative use of photography to create conceptual, painterly compositions. By deconstructing and reassembling photographs into fragmented mosaics, she challenges traditional views of reality. Her work reflects biophilia, referencing natural forms and fractals, and emphasizes the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world. Lattanzio has won the Zingarelli Special Jury Prize (2014) and created site-specific interventions in public spaces and galleries, exploring deep philosophical themes through visual art.
