Emanuela Battista, born in 1974 in Terracina, began her artistic journey with painting courses in adolescence. After studying "Interior Design" at the "Pantheon" Academy in Rome, she trained extensively in Italy and Switzerland. Since 2004, she has focused on ceramics, exploring both traditional and Raku techniques. Now living in Sperlonga, her work blends constant technical experimentation with inspiration drawn from the surrounding marine environment.

This work reflects my connection to the nature around me, particularly the sea, which is my constant reference and passion. From the breaking waves to the calming sunsets, I observe its many facets—the shifting colors, tides, and currents—which inspire both the technical and expressive elements of my work.
