Giovanna Vitelli was born in Turin on April 29, 1975. Her journey after graduating with honors in Law from the University of Turin in 1999 was a swift ascent. She practiced law at one of Italy's prestigious firms, Bonelli Erede Pappalardo in Milan, until 2004. In a pivotal twist, she embraced the family legacy that year, stepping into the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for the Marinas & Real Estate division.
Since 2000, her presence has been felt on the board of directors of Azimut Benetti S.p.A., the towering titan in maxi yacht construction founded by her father in 1969.
Her ascent continued as she claimed the mantle of Vice President, wielding executive powers over strategy, product development, and the Group's R&D. Her influence doesn't end there. Vitelli's impact spans across various prestigious positions; she serves on the boards of Marina di Varazze S.r.l. and Benetti Asia Ltd. She reigns as the Vice President of Nautica Italiana, an association that embodies the essence of Italian craftsmanship, and holds a pivotal seat on the executive committee of Boote Messe Duesseldorf.
She recently anointed as a member of the Altagamma Council, she now stands at the forefront of the association championing the world of 'Made in Italy' luxury.
